Research Questions

What happens in the brain when we lose the ability to pay attention to part of the world? We study stroke patients to correlate deficient behaviors with brain damage.
How do we pay attention in our everyday lives? We are developing novel Virtual Reality tools to recreate and study attentional behavior in a real(istic) world.
We all live an a world that is more and more filled-up with objects. We are looking at the brain networks allowing us to pay attention to relevant objects, but also to find those objects in space.
The brain works at different temporal and spatial scales. We record single neuron activity of key attentional areas to understand the microcircuits of attention.
